Licensure
Licensure and service areas.
Clear facts about who is licensed, where clinical care is available, and what is offered everywhere else.

Where clinical services are available
Licensed clinical services are provided only to clients who are physically located in Alaska or Ohio at the time of each session. Coaching, training, and retreats are non-clinical and available in every state and abroad.
Licensure follows where you are during a session, not where you live. A client who lives in Alaska but travels to another state would need to schedule around that travel, use coaching instead, or wait until they return. Couples from any state may travel to Alaska for a clinical intensive, because they are located in Alaska during the work.
SoundHeart plans to expand licensed clinical services to 25 states by the end of 2027. This page will be updated as each new license is issued.
Non-clinical services everywhere
Coaching, training, and retreats are offered in person and remotely to clients in every state and abroad, in English and Arabic. They are built on the same framework and the same professional care as our clinical work. They are not therapy, do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and do not create a therapist and client relationship.
Telehealth
Clinical telehealth sessions use a secure platform. At the start of each session you may be asked to confirm your location and an emergency contact, so we can respond appropriately if a crisis arises during the session.
