The Belonging Circle

Read the books. Practice the work. Together.

A live reading circle with Nawal Ibrahim, MS, MA, LPC, LMFT, on the four books of the NeuroRelational Library. One book at a time. Every other week. From anywhere.

How it works

One book at a time. Time to read between.

We read the four books in order, one after another. We meet live every other week, so you have two weeks to read the next chapters.

  1. Book 1 · WinterThe Relationship Brain
  2. Book 2 · SpringThe Rehabilitated Self
  3. Book 3 · SummerNeuroRelational Belonging
  4. Book 4 · FallThe Marriage Rehab
Books
Own at least one of the four books to join. One book opens every session, so you can join any or all four books. Books are sold separately to clients and members as secure digital editions, $49 for one book or $99 for all four. Get the books.
Each book
Five live sessions. Four reading sessions, then a recap and open Q&A where you can ask about the book or any earlier recording.
Season
20 live group sessions in 2027, starting January 2027. The season ends December 31, 2027.
Schedule
Every other week, 60 minutes. The day and time are announced to members before the season begins. Dates may change. A cancelled session is rescheduled or replaced with a recording.
Where
Live online by video. Join from any state or country.
Breaks
We pause for Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, a short summer break, and year-end holidays. Members receive recorded sessions during longer breaks.
Replays
Every session is recorded. Members can watch the full replay library through December 31, 2027.

Good to know

Education, not therapy.

  • The Belonging Circle is an educational reading group. It is not counseling, group therapy, or crisis support, and no clinical relationship is formed.
  • Please keep what other members share in the circle. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
  • Membership is not certification. Using the model in professional work requires SoundHeart certification.
  • In a crisis, call or text 988 in the U.S., dial 911 in an emergency, or call your local emergency number.

Questions

Before you join

Do I need to own the books?

Yes, at least one. Owning one book lets you join every session, for any or all four books. Having the book we are reading helps you follow along. Books are sold separately as secure digital editions for clients and members, $49 for one book or $99 for all four.

Can I join from outside the U.S.?

Yes. The circle is education, so members join from any state or country.

How do I get the meeting link?

After you join, we email the session calendar and meeting details to members. They are never posted publicly, so please do not share them.

Why every other week?

So you have time to read. Two weeks between sessions is enough for the next chapters, so each hour together goes deeper.

Can I join mid-season?

Yes. The price is the same any time you join, and you get every recorded session from the start of the season. Bring your questions on earlier recordings to any recap and open Q&A. Your membership ends December 31, 2027.

Can I cancel?

Monthly members can cancel anytime to stop future payments. All payments are final and non-refundable. Every membership ends on December 31, 2027. See the membership terms.

Is there an Arabic circle?

Tell us at checkout which language you prefer. If enough members ask, we will open an Arabic circle.
